- We provide Christ-centered education to the community at large and support services to persons and their families struggling with sexual conflicts.
- We are an interdenominational ministry which offers counseling and other support services to those overcoming sexual conflicts such as sexual compulsivity, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, and sexual identity issues, such as homosexuality.
- We are a member and referral ministry of Exodus International, a coalition of more than one hundred homosexual recovery ministries in the United States and around the world.
- We strive to be a help to those struggling with sexual conflicts, to help them to manage their sexuality to the glory of God through abstinence or through developing the ability to enter into and maintain an intimate, lifelong, monogamous, heterosexual marriage.
- We help participants grow in their ability to be relationally appropriate with members of the same as well as the opposite sex.
- We believe our purpose is to be a model to and within the Christian community of the practical experience of the grace of God.
- We believe the following:
- Sexuality is a good gift from God.
- God intended that men and women should not be alone but enjoy the fellowship, connectedness, love, and nurture of intimate relationships.
- Intimate relationships are essential for all humankind.
- Entering a relationship with Jesus Christ initiates a process not fully completed until Christ’s return.
- Through this relationship with Christ, persons struggling with sexual temptation are
forgiven of all pasts sins.
- Through the power of the Holy Spirit, they are able to bring their behavior into conformity to the will of God.
- Involuntary emotions and thoughts undergo a process of change.
- Many sexual encounters and behaviors have an addictive component, in that the
individuals are unable to free themselves; often requiring professional assistance and support.
- God does not intend to replace homosexual lust with heterosexual lust, but is leading all of His children to lives of intimacy with Himself and one another.
