April Bowers, M.A., LPC, has been a women’s counselor at Day Seven since 2003. In 2005, she also began to serve as Internship Director, and since December of 2006, as Interim Executive Director. In her counseling role, April has worked with all types of clients; however, she has focused on women with sexual abuse histories, sexual addictions, and identity issues. April holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies from Messiah College and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Columbia International University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Association of Christian Counseling. April and her husband, Marshall, live in Harrisburg and attend Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill. |
